详细的配置方法可以参考IBM下面的官方文档，我们只要将需要监控的Statistic 改为mail.waiting. 当mail.box中的等待的邮件超过一定数量时，一封通知邮件就会发送给管理员。
How to receive notification in Application Event Viewer of Windows when the disk is runnning short of free space

|If the disk is running short of free space, then administrator wants to receive notification in the Event Viewer - Application of Windows. |
|1. In the Notes.ini file on the Domino server set ServerTasks Line as below : |

2. Open Events4.nsf - Event Generators - Statistic Collection - click New Statistics Collection. In the Basics tab input server names, then in the Options tab choose to log statistics to a database like statrep.nsf and collection report and Collection alarm intervals. Choose Statistics Filters accordingly.
3. In the Events4.nsf - Event Generators - Statistic - New Statistic Event Generator.
3a. In the Basics tab specify the server name and in Statistic to monitor choose "Disk.x.free", where x can be C drive, D drive, etc.
3b. In the Threshold tab select "The statistic is LESS THAN" or "The statistic is GREATER THAN" the threshold value and input certain number in the Threshold field.
3c. In the Other tab, Select the Severity of the statistic Event. click Create a new event handler for this event button, then click Next button and in the Event Handler Wizard GUI, choose "Log to NT Event Viewer" option. Click Next. Click Finish the Event Handler Wizard.
4. Close and save and reload the Collect and Event task on the Domino server.
5. The administrator will receive the notification in the Application Event Viewer of Windows. The Source of the event will be NotesEvent. The Event will contain information like Server Name, Disk Space, Event Number that indicates, which event has triggered the notification in the Event Viewer.
Please note that by design the statistic monitor only trigger once per day unless one of the following happens:
a. The statistic falls below the threshold and then raises back above it.
b. The alarm is cleared from the statrep database.
Note: Alarm Interval is defined in the server statistic collection document. To enable the Alarm field, Go to Files --> Preference --> Administration Preferences. Click Statistics. Choose "Check Statistic alarms, while monitoring or charting statistics". Enable the field to report an alarm, when a statistic exceeds a threshold. You must enable this field to generate a statistics events. Alarms are reported to Monitoring Results database (statrep.nsf). Disable the field, if you do not want to generate alarms.
